rMell’s twelfth project, 3Zi, is an EP marking the rapper-producer’s third iteration as an artist. Consisting of three tracks recorded over the course of two years, listeners are reintroduced to rMell and his contemporary soundscape, which sits at the intersection of backpack rap and alternative electronic music, complete with independent visuals and promotion. “As an artist, I’ve had a lot going against me, and no one can believe in you more than yourself,” he says of the project. “I’m done sitting on all this music and keeping it to myself.” - Atoosa Moinzadeh
